Harrisburg Senators News Release

For the third time in eight home games, the Senators won in walk-off fashion over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5-4. In front of over 2,000 fans on a gorgeous Friday night at Commerce Bank Park, the fans enjoyed late fireworks out of the Senators, and then post-game fireworks provided by WINK 104.

After scoring a run in the bottom of the first on a walk, the Sens fell behind 3-1 in the fourth on a three-run home run by Fisher Cat Anthony Hatch.

Harrisburg scored twice in the fifth on a two-out two-run double by Justin Maxwell. But the Fisher Cats came right back with a run in the sixth on an rbi single by Jacob Butler to take a 4-3 lead. It stayed that way until the bottom of the eighth when pinch hitter Luke Montz singled in Andrew LeFave with a single to tie the game. From there the Sens bullpen and defense took over. A 4-6-3 bases loaded double play ended the top of the ninth and then Jorge Padilla made a fine running catch deep in right center field in the 11th to keep the game tied.

Finally in the bottom of the 11th the Sens put the game to bed. William Bergolla led off by walking which brought Thursday's hero Roger Bernadina to the plate. Bernadina took a ball, trying to bunt, then saw a pitch to his liking and lined into the alley way in right field for a game winning triple, scoring Bergolla with the winning run.

With the win, the Senators move to 10-5 for the season while the Fisher Cats fall to 3-11. On Saturday night the Senators send RH Bobby Brownlie to the mound against LH AJ Wideman for the Fisher Cats. The game Saturday begins at 6:05pm.
