Goaltender Ryan Munce Reassigned To Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA - Today, Norfolk Admirals General Manager Claude Loiselle announced that goaltender Ryan Munce has been reassigned to the Admirals from the ECHL's Mississippi Sea Wolves.
Munce, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario, will join Norfolk for his third stint with the team. He has appeared in nine games with the Admirals this season, posting a 2-6-0 record with a 2.99 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. Munce registered his first career AHL victory on October 13 with the Admirals at Albany.
Munce has appeared in 33 games with the Sea Wolves this season posting an 18-15-0-0 record with a 2.80 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. The 23-year-old netminder was acquired by the Lightning from the Los Angeles Kings on January 20, 2007, in exchange for a 2008 fourth-round draft pick.
The Admirals will continue their eight-game homestand this week with three games: Wednesday versus the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals) and Friday and Saturday against the Manchester Monarchs (Los Angeles Kings). All games begin at 7:15 p.m. at Norfolk Scope.
