Thunder on CN8 For Three Games

(Trenton, NJ)- The Trenton Thunder, the Double A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that three games this season will be televised live on CN8, The Comcast Network, presented by Hyundai.

The CN8 broadcast schedule will start on May 17 as the Thunder host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. The second game will be on June 21 as the Thunder take on the Binghamton Mets, Double A Affiliate of the New York Mets. The final game from Trenton will be on July 26 against the Portland Sea Dogs, Double A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. All games begin at 7:05 PM with the broadcast starting at 7:00 PM.

"CN8 provides us a Major League quality broadcast and offers tremendous exposure for the Thunder and Minor League Baseball. This is a great opportunity for fans to see all the excitement here at Waterfront Park," said Thunder General Manager Brad Taylor. "We are very to have Hyundai Motors America as the presenting sponsor of our television games."

The 2007 season will be the thirteenth straight, dating back to 1996, in which CN8 has broadcast Trenton Thunder games. The network won a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award in 2000 for their coverage of the Thunder's 1999 playoff run.

The Thunder will host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, the Triple A affiliate of the New York Yankees, in a special pre-season exhibition game at Waterfront Park in Trenton on April 1 at 7:05 PM. The Thunder will start the 2008 regular season on the road at Binghamton (NY Mets) on April 3. They will open the 2008 Home Season on April 10 against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals).
