66ers Blow Out Mad Ants

TULSA, Okla., December 19, 2007 - The Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League were able to control the tempo in today's match-up against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants to win their second consecutive game on home hardwood at Expo Square Pavilion 122-92.

Tulsa was led by center Nick Fazekas who had 20 points on 8-18 shooting. Forwards Glen McGowan and Mike Hall chipped in for 17 and 19 points, respectively. Fazekas also grabbed the only double-double of the night adding 16 rebounds. Ramon Sessions, assigned by the Milwaukee Bucks, also added 16 points to the 66ers win, while Keith Closs and Maurice Agers, on assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, poured in 14 points of their own.

"I thought that we played well. The chemistry that we had tonight was great. The only thing that we can do is get better," said Fazekas about today's game.

Fort Wayne guard Walker Russell led the Mad Ants in scoring with 19 points. Three other Mad Ants also scored in double-figures including Lukasz Obrzut with 18, Roderick Wilmont for 14, and Earl Calloway chipping in 11

Friday night, the 66ers take on the Dakota Wizards, the Central Division's second place team. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Bismarck Civic Center.
