14ers to Wear Nuggets NBA Affiliate Jerseys Tonight vs. Austin

DENVER - Dec. 19, 2007 - The Colorado 14ers will take part in NBA Nights presented by adidas for the second consecutive season tonight when they host the Austin Toros at the Broomfield Event Center. Colorado will wear the light blue jerseys of their NBA Affiliate Team, the Denver Nuggets while the Toros will wear the jerseys of their NBA parent club, the San Antonio Spurs. Following the game the 14ers will autograph and auction off their Nuggets jerseys along with a Denver Nuggets autographed basketball with the proceeds going to the Broomfield Event Center Foundation.
Also tonight the 14ers will extend a special welcome to Denver Nuggets ambassadors Mark Randall, Mo Martin, Ervin Johnson, and Walter Davis. The former Nuggets players will be on hand to sign autographs, interact with the fans, and participate in game-night promotions.
In addition, there will be a Teddy Bear Toss presented by Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center during halftime of tonight's game. Fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal toy to the game to donate by tossing it on to the court at halftime. All donations will go to support the Broomfield Police, North Metro Fire Department, Kunsberg School, and Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center. In appreciation of the donation, an Exempla Good Samaritan Teddy Bear surgery station will be set up on the east concourse of the B.E.C. from 6:00 to 7:30 to repair your older stuffed animals. The 14ers will have the good doctors from Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center on hand to perform any Teddy Bear surgeries that might be necessary to repair your stuffed animals so they are as good as new!
