Symington Stymies Competition And Recieves Award

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce goaltender Jeremy Symington has been named the league's Southern Sports Supply Goaltender of the Week for the period ending December 16th.

For the second time this season, Symington earned the league's top weekly award for a goaltender by going 2-1-0-0 over three games and holding the opposition to a 2.01 goals against average. .

Highlighting the week for Symington was a 36 save shutout last Friday versus the Muskegon Fury. The shutout was the first this season for both Symington and the K-Wings.

Preparing for four games in five nights, the Kalamazoo Wings will return to Wings Stadium this Wednesday, December 19th for a 7 p.m. face-off against the Port Huron Icehawks.
