LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws have announced that their 2007 game-worn jerseys are being auctioned off in the ClawsCove as well as by telephone. The silent auction will end at the conclusion of the game on Monday, September 3.

The three regular BlueClaws jerseys (home pinstriped, road gray and Sunday red) are all available as well as the Military Appreciation Night camouflage and the green Irish Heritage Night jerseys. The camo jerseys were worn during the game on July 5th while the Irish jerseys were worn on July 14th.

Bids can be placed in person at the merchandise store at FirstEnergy Park or by contacting Mark Euler at (732) 901-7000 ext. 110.

"Some of these players will make it to the Major Leagues one day," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "This is a great opportunity to have one of their jerseys that they have been wearing all season."

Select jerseys will not be available as the players had a chance to purchase their own jerseys before the auction.

The September 3rd game will start at 1:05pm and is the final game of the 2007 regular season. Winners will be contacted by phone and the jerseys will be available for pickup starting September 4th.

The 2006 South Atlantic League Champion BlueClaws continue to have the most affordable ticket for Professional Baseball in New Jersey. Having led the South Atlantic League in attendance each year of operation, they recently added their 3-millionth fan, becoming the fastest team in league and New Jersey history to do so. For tickets or more information call 732-901-7000 or visit the BlueClaws website at www.BlueClaws.com.
