Reading Fightin Phils News Release
Reading, PA - Pack your bags and come to a ballgame. The Reading Phillies, along with White Star Travel Center and Y102, will be giving away an instant weekend vacation to Wildwood, NJ on Friday April, 20 when the Akron Aeros come to FirstEnergy Stadium for a 7:05 game.
"Everyone loves to win prizes and everyone loves a weekend getaway," said R-Phils general manager Scott Hunsicker. "Typically, when you win a prize you take it with you. In this case the prize takes you somewhere. The anticipation of possibly winning this prize should make this contest a lot of fun for the fans that enter."
Fans wanting to win the trip are asked to bring their packed luggage to the ballpark, ready to leave immediately following the game. Those fans packed and ready to go should report to the White Star/Y102 table in the right field food court to fill out an entry form. Entrants must be age 18 or over.
Following the conclusion of the game, a luxury motor coach will pull onto the field and 20 winners will be drawn. Those 20 winners, along with one guest, will board the bus and immediately leave for a fun-filled weekend in Wildwood.
This fantastic instant vacation includes two-nights hotel accommodations, full course breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday and a full course dinner on Saturday night. Departure from Wildwood will occur at approximately 11 AM Sunday morning.
Tickets for the game are available at FirstEnergy Stadium and by phone Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and online 24 hours a day at readingphillies.com.
