Omaha Storm Chasers News Release

OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals and CenterPlate Concessions are pleased to announce that SUBWAY restaurants will have a concession stand this season at Rosenblatt Stadium. SUBWAY is also the new sponsor of the Royals Kids Club, which kids 12-and-under may join for free in 2007, and is also sponsoring Kids Eat Free Wednesdays during the upcoming season.

The SUBWAY concession stand will feature subs and individual pizzas.

"Rosenblatt Stadium is one of Omaha's premier venues and we're thrilled to be a part of that," said Pat Krebbs, co-owner of the SUBWAY restaurants located at 23rd & L and 50th & Underwood. "The Royals Kids Club and SUBWAY is a natural partnership based on the fact that we have so many restaurants in the metro area. With our new emphasis on the fresh and fit kids meal, we're seeing an increase in the number of parents bringing their kids into SUBWAY," added Krebbs.

The Royals Kids Club is open to children 12-and-under. To join, all a child has to do is pick up a membership form at any SUBWAY restaurant. All Royals Kids Club members receive a free ticket to each of the Royals eleven Sunday home games, when they will be invited to run the bases after the game. Members also receive a free pennant, a personalized membership card, a monthly newsletter and an invitation to a team party.

The Royals home schedule includes nine Wednesday games in 2007, billed as Kids Eat Free Wednesdays. Kids 12-and-under who attend those games will receive a free individual pizza at the SUBWAY concession stand.

The Royals open their 2007 Pacific Coast League season on Thursday, April 5th at Albuquerque, with the home opener at Rosenblatt Stadium slated for Friday, April 13th at 7:05 p.m., also vs. the Isotopes.
