"These two scrimmages will provide both teams' fans with a terrific opportunity to see the top prospects in the A's organization at various stages of their journey to the big leagues," said Alan Ledford, River Cats president, general manager and COO. "The event will be a great follow-up to the March 29th River Cats-A's Exhibition Game at Raley Field."

"We're thrilled to be teaming up with the Sacramento River Cats to further promote our facilities and to give local Oakland A's and minor league baseball fans the chance to see so many A's prospects playing in the two games," said Ports President Pat Filippone. "We appreciate the support of the Oakland Athletics and Sacramento River Cats for this series and hope to make it an ongoing event"

The scrimmages will take place less than one week after Sacramento hosts the Oakland A's for a March 29th Exhibition Game at Raley Field. Game time for the River Cats-A's Exhibition Game is 6:05 PM. Limited tickets remain available.
