Adirondack Phantoms News Release

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms are formally requesting the honor of their fans' presence at the marriage of a longtime Phantoms couple on Sunday the twenty-ninth of October, Two thousand and six, at the Wachovia Center.

There's normally no love lost in a game between the Phantoms and the Hershey Bears, but wedding bells will ring when the two teams meet that evening. During the second intermission of the 7:05 PM game, Phantoms fans Scott Sullivan and Donna LeFevre will exchange marriage vows. LeFevre will be walked to center ice from the Zamboni tunnel, where Sullivan will be waiting in front of a hockey net that will serve as the altar.

The future Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan will be joined by several friends and family in a special section at the Wachovia Center. Guests received a wedding invitation that mimicked the look of a Phantoms season-ticket-holder game ticket. A low-resolution copy of the invitation is attached, and a high-resolution version is available at www.phantomshockey.com.

Sullivan and LeFevre, both from Philadelphia, met six and a half years ago. On Jan. 2, 2005, with the Phantoms entertaining the Rochester Americans at the Wachovia Spectrum and the center-hung scoreboard illuminating his plea, Sullivan went to a knee and proposed to LeFevre.

The Phantoms went on to create some magic of their own that season, winning the 2005 Calder Cup in a four-game sweep over the Chicago Wolves.

Fans are asked to RSVP by purchasing tickets for the game online at phantomshockey.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200. The selection of Beef or Chicken can be made on game night at one of the Wachovia Center's many concession stands.
