Xplosion announce schedule updates

December 22, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Pittsburgh Xplosion News Release

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 22, 2005 -- Happy Holidays to you from the Pittsburgh Xplosion, the city's professional basketball team.

The Pittsburgh Xplosion's next home game is Friday, Jan. 6 against the Ohio Aviators at Mellon Arena, at 7 p.m.

The team is on the road tonight for a game against the Cleveland Rockers. The Xplosion (8-7) aim to extend their winning streak to four games before the holiday break.

The Christmas Day road game against the Kentucky Colonels has been postponed and will be rescheduled.

The previously scheduled game against the Indiana Alley Cats on Monday, Dec. 26 at the Petersen Events Center is being moved to a future date because the Harlem Globetrotters are playing in Pittsburgh on the same date.

We hope to see you at a Pittsburgh Xplosion game in the New Year, and if you can't catch the best-kept secret in town, we hope you will continue printing or airing our game results and news.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
