Francois-Pierre Guenette is the Halifax Mooseheads' Player of the Month for January.
Playing in all 13 of the Mooseheads games during the month, Guenette contributed seven goals and six assists to the Halifax attack while recording a plus five rating.
Guenette was picked as the first star in a 4-3 victory over the P.E.I. Rocket Jan. 21, when he scored three times, including the game winning goal. He also gained three-star recognition with a second star selection Jan. 7, helping the Mooseheads to a 6-3 win over the Gatineau Olympiques with a goal and an assist.
Guenette is fourth in team scoring on the season, with 16 goals and 26 assists for 42 points in 52 games.
Mooseheads' Head Coach Al MacAdam presented the award to Guenette at the team's Player of the Month Luncheon, held at the Brightwood Golf and Country Club today (Feb. 7, 2005).
