Blades Announce Canada Day in January Details

The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to have partnered with Trader Publications to present "Canada Day" in January, on Saturday January 1st, 2005. On that day the Blades play host to the Regina Pats at 4:00pm here at Credit Union Centre. On New Years Day the Blue & Gold will be changing team colors to Red & White as they celebrate Canada Day in January. The Blades will be the first team in the WHL to dawn such "New Canadian Digs". Following the game, the jerseys will be autographed and put up for sale for the general public to purchase. The Blades are encouraging all Blades fans to dress in Red & White as we salute our great national past-time, hockey and cheer on Team Canada as they Go For Gold at the World Junior Hockey Championships.

The Saskatoon Blades are also pleased to have partnered with C95, Globe Printers, CTV Saskatoon, Trader Publications and The Riviera to make available the 2nd Annual New Years Day "Family Day Passport". The Family Day Passport will be available for the Blades January 1st matinee versus the Regina Pats. The New years Day Family Day Passport consists of Four Blades Game Seats (2 Adults, 2 Children), 2 Blades Game-Day Programs, 4 Slices of Pizza courtesy of The Riviera, 4 Pepsi drinks from the Riviera Concession and a StarZone discount coupon for Blades merchandise. The $35 Passport has a retail value of over $90. It makes a great Christmas stocking stuffer for the Family. Passports are available for purchase beginning Wednesday December 15th 12:00noon at the Credit Union Centre Box Office. These Family Day Passports will be exclusively available at the Credit Union Centre Box Office.

C95, Globe Printers, CTV Saskatoon, Trader Publications and The Riviera are also proud to present a post-game Family Skate on January 1st where all fans can lace-up their Blades and join members of the Blades for a great New Years Day Family Skate. It's the perfect family outing....

Individual seats can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 938.7800 or on-line at Ticketmaster.ca. Group seats can be purchased by calling the Blades Ticket Team at 975.8844. Game vouchers can also be purchased at Al Anderson's in the Heart of Saskatoon.
