
America's Favorite Survivor Rupert Boneham to make appearance at October 24 Mighty Ducks game

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Rupert Boneham, "America's Favorite Survivor," is scheduled to appear at Cincinnati Gardens Sunday, October 24, when the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks face the Rochester Americans at 5:05 p.m. Rupert will drop the ceremonial first puck, sign autographs for select fans and participate in intermission events.
Rupert originally finished eighth on "Survivor: Pearl Islands" and as a result of his popularity was a contestant on 'Survivor: All-Stars." After a fourth-place finish on that series, the Indianapolis, Indiana native was voted America's Favorite Survivor, receiving 85 percent of the 38 million on-line votes cast to win a $1 million prize.
The Mighty Ducks begin their eighth American Hockey League season Wednesday, October 13 in Utah. Cincinnati plays its first game at Cincinnati Gardens Saturday, October 23 against Rochester to start a three-game homestand.
Fans interested in season and group tickets can purchase them by calling the Mighty Ducks Ticket Sales Department at (513) 351-3999. Tickets are available in several price ranges. The Cincinnati Gardens seats 10,326 for AHL games.
Information on Mighty Ducks individual game tickets and a complete broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
