Sioux Falls, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce will host the 15th Annual Roger D. Larsen Benefit Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 7 at Willow Run Golf Course. Check-in for the four-person scramble begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. To secure a spot in the tournament please call the Skyforce office at (605) 332-0605.
Entry fee for the event is $800 per foursome which includes green fees, cart rental, lunch (burgers and brats), free drinks, cocktail hour and banquet dinner. There will be an auction conducted during a banquet following the tournament.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Sky's the Limit Youth Foundation. Each year, Skyforce coaches, players and staff are involved in a variety of Sky's the Limit outreach activities. The event has raised over $325,000 in 14 years.
Roger Larsen was a member of the Skyforce ownership group from 1993-99 and again from 2001 until his life came to a tragic halt on Feb. 13, 2002. Larsen and current Skyforce owner Greg Heineman were business partners at Williams Insurance for 31 years prior to his unexpected death.
