Tri-City Storm Acquires F Max Humitz from Muskegon

February 2, 2016 - Kearney, Ne. - The Tri-City Storm has acquired forward Max Humitz from the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for forward John Sladic, Head Coach and General Manager Bill Muckalt announced Tuesday. Humitz, 20, brings four seasons and 178 games of USHL experience to the Storm. In the league since 2012-13, the native of Livonia, Michigan helped the Lumberjacks to the Clark Cup Finals last season. February 1, 2016 - Kearney, Ne. - For the third time this season, Tri-City Storm blueliner Mattias Goransson has been named CCM Defenseman of the week, the USHL announced Monday. The native of Grums, Sweden tallied four assists this weekend, including a season-best three-point effort Friday against Fargo. With the helpers, Goransson reclaims his spot as the top defenseman scorer in the USHL and sits at second on Tri-City with 29 points.
