Rousseau Shuts Down Fuel for 2-0 Heartlanders Win

February 28, 2026 - Fishers, IN - Iowa Heartlanders goaltender William Rousseau blocked 23 shots for his first shutout of the season and the Heartlanders shut out the Indy Fuel, 2-0, Saturday Fishers Event Center. Rousseau saved 13 in the first period, four in the second and six in the third, including multiple Indy breakaways. Rousseau is Iowa's all-time shutouts leader with three. Heartlanders' Point Streak Halted at Indy, 5-2

February 27, 2026 - Fishers, IN - The Iowa Heartlanders' season-long six-game point streak (5-0-1-0) came to an end against the Indy Fuel, 5-2, Friday night at Fishers Event Center. Iowa capitalized on two of their five power plays to keep pace, but two third-period goals closed the door on the Heartlanders' comeback. Mitchell Weeks made 22 saves for the Fuel in the victory. February 26, 2026 - Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders scored the first three goals and first star Elliot Desnoyers tallied two more in the third to upend the Bloomington Bison Wednesday at Xtream Arena. Desnoyers' first goal, a left circle slap shot, gave Iowa a 4-2 lead with ten minutes to go. February 21, 2026 - Coralville, Iowa - Over 4,000 fans attended the Iowa Heartlanders' Cornfed Country Night, pres. by Iowa Corn and saw the Heartlanders earn a point in a 3-2 overtime decision to the Cincinnati Cyclones Saturday at Xtream Arena. Iowa's Nick Carabin and Elliott McDermott scored in a two-minute span in the first, but Cincinnati stormed from behind in the third with two power-play goals to tie the game.
