Iowa Takes 45 Shots But Gylander Stops Them All for 3-0 Toledo Win

March 1, 2026 - Toledo, OH - The Iowa Heartlanders took 20 shots in the third period and 45 in the game, but Toledo Walleye goaltender Carter Gylander saved them all for his second shutout of the season in a 3-0 defeat for the Heartlanders Sunday at Huntington Center. Iowa out shot Toledo, 45-31. The Walleye have not allowed a goal in 150 minutes (2.5 games), dating back to Friday vs. Bloomington. Rousseau Shuts Down Fuel for 2-0 Heartlanders Win

February 28, 2026 - Fishers, IN - Iowa Heartlanders goaltender William Rousseau blocked 23 shots for his first shutout of the season and the Heartlanders shut out the Indy Fuel, 2-0, Saturday Fishers Event Center. Rousseau saved 13 in the first period, four in the second and six in the third, including multiple Indy breakaways. Rousseau is Iowa's all-time shutouts leader with three. Heartlanders' Point Streak Halted at Indy, 5-2

February 27, 2026 - Fishers, IN - The Iowa Heartlanders' season-long six-game point streak (5-0-1-0) came to an end against the Indy Fuel, 5-2, Friday night at Fishers Event Center. Iowa capitalized on two of their five power plays to keep pace, but two third-period goals closed the door on the Heartlanders' comeback. Mitchell Weeks made 22 saves for the Fuel in the victory.
