July 4, 2026 - JOLIET, IL - Due to inclement weather in the Joliet area, Saturday night's series middle game with the Joliet Slammers has been postponed after a lengthy delay.
The teams will now play a doubleheader tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. CT, made up of two seven-inning games.
The Evansville Otters are the 2006 and 2016 Frontier League champions.

July 3, 2026 - EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Otters (29-18) lost a lead in the later frames and dropped game one of the series against the Joliet Slammers (21-26) on Friday night, 8-5.
Garret Simpson got the start for the Otters against Ryan Daly for Joliet.
The Slammers struck first in the opening inning, Jackson Valera bringing in a run to give Joliet an early lead.
The Otters tied the game in the top of the third after an error from the Slammers' defense, but Joliet instantly got the lead back in the bottom half.

Fresh off the 7-day injured list, it was Ben Petschke getting the start for Evansville against Brit Kostura for the Wild Things.
The Otters scored first for the first time in this series with Blake Robertson's RBI double scoring Marcos Gonzalez in the second inning.

Esteban Rodriguez was the opposing starter for the Wild Things. It started off shaky for Willeman, as three walks and a hit-by-pitch brought in the first run of the day. Washington took a 2-0 lead out of the top of the first.
