Zephyrs to play Round Rock Express

Metairie, LA --- The NEW ORLEANS ZEPHYRS the Class AAA Pacific Coast League affiliate of the Houston Astros are pleased to announce two exhibition games will be held against the Round Rock Express, The Class AA Texas League affiliate of the Houston Astros.

The Zephyrs will play the Express at Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock, Texas on April 3rd, and then come home to play a game at Zephyr Field on Sunday, April 4th at 5:00 pm.

Tickets for the exhibition game at Zephyr Field are $6 per person and may be purchased by calling the Zephyrs at (504)734-5155.

The teams played at Round Rock in 2001, and 2002 with the Zephyrs winning both contests. The series between the Zephyrs and Express will mark the final tune-up of 2004 Spring Training.

"The game should be a lot of fun." Commented Dan Rajkowski, Zephyrs VP and General Manager. "It will give our fans a glimpse of our team for the upcoming season and the opportunity to see many of the Astros upcoming prospects and many future Z's with the Express."

The Round Rock Express will become a member of the Pacific Coast League in 2005. The franchise purchased the Edmonton Trappers and will relocate the team to Round Rock.

New Orleans opens the season at the Iowa Cubs on April 8th. The Zephyrs 2004 home opener is on Friday April 16th against the Iowa Cubs. Season tickets and mini plans are now on sale.
