
Grizzlies begin search for "Central Valley Valentine"

The Fresno Grizzlies Baseball Team, triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, is excited to announce their search to find the Central Valley's biggest romantic.
Fans are invited to submit a love letter, written to their sweetheart, in 100 words or less. The Grizzlies' "Cupid Committee" will select the most romantic letter, and the letter recipient will receive a visit from the Grizzlies mascot, Wild Thing, on Thursday, February 12. In a special pre-Valentine's Day visit, Wild Thing will present the winning writer's sweetheart with the winning love letter and a giant heart shaped cookie from Doug-Out Cookies.

All letters must be received by 5pm Friday, February 6. Fans may also hand deliver letters to the Grizzlies Stadium administrative offices on the 2nd floor of the stadium during normal business hours Monday thru Friday, 9am â 5pm. The writer must include their contact information (name, telephone number, email address) along with the love letter, as well as the location where their sweetheart can be found on February 12th.
