
Zalapski leaves K-Wings

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that defenseman Zarley Zalapski has left the team to pursue other opportunities.
In 10 games with the Kalamazoo, Zalapski scored 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) and had a plus/minus rating of -3. Both of Zalapski's goals were scored on opening night (10/15) during a 4-1 victory over the Motor City Mechanics.
Zalapski's announcement comes a day before the K-Wings head out east to play four games in five nights against the UHL's Eastern Division.
The four games will conclude a six-game road swing for the K-Wings, who will return home to Wings Stadium on Wednesday, December 8th to host their intra-state rivals the Flint Generals at 7 p.m.
