
Zach Higgins Named NLL Player of the Week

Today, the NLL announced that Philadelphia Wings goalie Zach Higgins was named NLL Player of the Week for Week 14.
Higgins backstopped the Wings to a 2-0 record during Week 14, stopping 96-of-118 shots to the tune of a .813 save percentage. In his second performance of the week, Higgins tied a franchise record with 55 saves to help the Wings earn their first victory over the Toronto Rock since rejoining the NLL in 2018.
Higgins has started all 10 games in net for the Wings this season, owning a 5-5 record with a .784 save percentage. During the Wings 3-1 run in their last four games, Higgins boasts an .818 save percentage and has been the backbone of their push into the playoff race in the East.
Higgins and the Wings look to stay hot as they head north to take on the New York Riptide this Saturday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. Fans can watch the matchup on NBC Sports Philadelphia and ESPN+.
