You've Been Hit by a Rebel promotion

OTTAWA -- The Ottawa Rebel Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce details of an exciting community relations campaign.

The program, "You've Been Hit by a Rebel" is aimed at fostering goodwill between the Rebel and the Ottawa public.

Details of the campaign are attached to this notice.

The new Rebel promotion will appear at four Tim Horton's locations in Ottawa on Friday. To speak with a Rebel representative or for photographs, please visit the new Tim Horton's location on Hunt Club Road next to the Ottawa Sun building on Friday morning, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The Rebel play next at home (Civic Centre at Lansdowne Park) against the Toronto Rock on Thursday, January 23. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Ottawa scored an impressive 13-11 victory over the Colorado Mammoth on January 11.

The Ottawa Rebel Lacrosse Club is committed to providing Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais quality and affordable professional sports entertainment.

Fans can win great prizes at the upcoming Rebel game against the Toronto Rock on January 23. Three prize packages for a trip-for-two to Toronto to see the Rebel against the Toronto Rock at the Air Canada Centre will be available. The package includes round-trip rail transportation, overnight hotel accomodation and lower-bowl tickets for the Rebel versus Rock game, February 7 in Toronto.

The Rebel also has a "Two Teams for the Price of One" promotion on January 23. Fans buying a regular-priced Rebel ticket will receive a voucher good for a free ticket to an Ottawa Renegades pre-season home game during the 2003 season.
