
Fans Encouraged To Get Party Started With Indoor Block Party at Wings Games

Attending a Philadelphia Wings lacrosse game at First Union Center has often been described as "One Massive Party." The team is expanding the party with a pre-game indoor block party complete with live music, a mechanical bull, interactive games, food and drink specials and other entertainment prior to all home games at the First Union Center. The "Party" begins on Saturday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m. when the Broad Street Bash precedes the Wings home opener against the Colorado Mammoth at 8 p.m. in the First Union Center.
"We've had great success with our playoff block parties during the Flyers and 76ers seasons, and we wanted to come up with a way to increase our fans experience at a Wings game," said Comcast-Spectacor Senior Vice President John Page. "The Broad Street Bash is a great place for fans to arrive earlier than usual, avoid some of the traffic congestion and meet up with other Wings fans."
The Broad Street Bash fills both the 11th Street and Broad Street atriums of First Union Center, at least 90 minutes prior to every Wings home game at First Union Center, including Saturday, February 1 vs. Toronto Rock at 8 p.m.; Saturday, February 8 vs. Rochester at 8 p.m.; Saturday, February 22 vs. New Jersey at 1 p.m.; Saturday, March 1 vs. Columbus Landsharks at 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 8 vs. New York Saints at 1 p.m.; Saturday, March 15 vs. Buffalo Bandits at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, March 22 vs. Calgary Roughnecks at 8 p.m.
Admission to the Broad Street Bash is free with paid admission to the Wings game. Entrance to the Broad Street Bash is through the microbrewery entrance of First Union Center.
Game tickets, which include free admission to the Broad Street Bash, start as low as $18 ($20 day of game). Individual game tickets for Wings indoor lacrosse are Individual game tickets are $18, $23, and $27 in advance ($20, $25, and $29 on game day) and are available at the First Union Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations.
