Youth camp Sunday

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rock River Raptors of United Indoor Football (UIF) would like to remind everyone that the first of their four remaining youth football camps will take place on Sunday, April 7 at the Raptors Indoor Training Facility (213 N. Third St., Rockford, Ill. 61107).

The one-day camps will also take place on May 13 and June 10. Each of these camps will have two sessions where the first session is for ages 6-10 and will be held from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This session will focus on football fundamentals and the kids will have the opportunity to work out at all the positions. The second session, for ages11-13, will be held from 3-7 p.m. This group will have a greater focus on specific positions and fundamentals. The last hour of each session will include a non-contact competition.

The cost of the camps are $50 and includes a camp t-shirt and ticket to a Raptors home game. Participants will also have the opportunity to be introduced, on-field, at the game.

The Raptors will also host an overnight camp on June 22-23 for ages 6 and up. More information will be released on this camp at a later date.
