AMARILLO, TX - The first week of the Amarillo Bulls training camp wrapped up today (Sunday) in fine fashion with an exciting scrimmage game between the Red Team and the Yellow Team at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

More than 250 people dropped by the arena to watch the Yellow team get two goals off the stick of returning player Michael Davis to beat the Red side 4-3. Jude Warner and Omar Mullan had the other goals for yellow, while Hampus Gustafsson added two assists. Collin Delia posted the win in goal. The Yellow Squad was coached by former Amarillo Gorillas forward Jason Chafe and the Bulls' Team Chiropractor Dr. Joshua Auzeenne of Alpha-Omega Chiropractic.

Scoring for the Red Team were Kyle Plageman, Conor O'Neil and James LaDouce. The Red Team was coached by former Amarillo Rattlers and Gorillas forward David Rattray and Jimmy Boyd of Elite MMA and Fitness.

Bulls Head Coach Dennis Williams said he was impressed with the scrimmage and the way the players performed.

"The tempo of the game was excellent," Williams reported. "It was a 4-3 game and there were some nice plays. This type of game makes our decision tougher of what players we are going to keep.

"I was excited to see the guys perform so well in front of our terrific fans who showed up on a Sunday to see the game."

On-Ice and Off-Ice workouts will continue for the Amarillo Bulls through this coming week.

The next opportunity for Bulls' fans to see team in action will be on Thursday, Sept. 6 and Friday, Sept. 7 in back-to-back exhibition games against the Wichita Falls Wildcats. The face off for both games is at 7 pm. Tickets are $5 when purchased at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk in the Amarillo Building. For further information on the Exhibition Game or 2012-2013 Season Tickets, please call The Bulls office at 806-242-1122.
