Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release

After a season opening loss at Florida, the Yard Dawgz bounced back with an impressive win over the Corpus Christi Sharks, 76-72. The Dawgz (1-1) look to add to the win column this Saturday night for their first game in Oklahoma City this year.

The Quad City Steamwheelers jumped from number 3 to number 2 in this week's af2 poll on the strength road win over the 2006 ArenaCup Champions, the Spokane Shock. The Steamwheelers have defeated all of their opponents by 25 points or more and average 68.7 points per game.

"Quad City is a talented football team and they will be a tough challenge for us," said Head Coach John Fitzgerald. "We're not going to worry about them being 3-0. If we play to our ability, we'll be fine."

All Yard Dawgz games will be broadcast live on KTOK AM1000 and online at www.ktok.com.

Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
