
Yard Dawgz preparing to battle Dusters

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the Amarillo Dusters are battling for playoff position as they square off this Saturday night June 11th at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. The Yard Dawgz have won three straight games and they sit only one game back of Amarillo for third seed in the National Conference playoff race.
The Yard Dawgz have four of their last seven games at home in the friendly confines of the Ford Center this season. This will be the first time ever that these two teams will play each other and they will face each other again on July 10th in Amarillo.
The Dusters come into the game ranked 1st in scoring offense and ranked 1st in total offense. The Yard Dawgz come into the game ranked 8th in total defense and 1st in rushing offense.
The Yard Dawgz received their first af2 weekly award of the 2005 season last week when defensive specialist Jeromy Flowers was named ADT Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 59-35 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Dorados.
YARD DAWGZ NOTES: The Yard Dawgz will return to the road next week as they face the Bossier-Shreveport Battlewings...The Yard Dawgz defeated the Battlewings 52-17 back on May 21st.
