
Yard Dawgz Assigned Two Local Athletes from Tryouts

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz have been assigned WR/DB Andrew Garrison and WR/DB Ervin McGee by the arenafooball2 league office after their participation in the team's open tryout held in December. Both are entering their first season in the af2.
Garrison (6'2, 218) graduated from Putnam City High School in 2001 and played football at Northeastern Oklahoma A & M Junior College and Southern Nazarene University before finishing his career at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. He was two-time All-Conference and a member of the basketball, golf, and track teams during his collegiate years. Garrison graduated from Evangel University in 2007 with a degree in Public Administration.
McGee (5'9, 180) attended Southern Methodist University and completed his eligibility at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. The Ardmore High School graduate was All-District 5A First Team, Coaches Association All-State, and 2002 All-Area Football First-Team.
The Yard Dawgz are hosting their final open tryout on Saturday, January 26th on Compassionate Care Hospice Field at the Cox Convention Center (Exhibit Halls A-D). Registration begins at 1 p.m. and the tryout will begin at 2 p.m.
The Yard Dawgz are looking to complete their training camp roster and encourage anyone who feels that they have what it takes to be a professional athlete to participate in the tryout.
