Yankees to Kick Off June with Four Game Home stand at Steinbrenner Field

Tampa, FL - As May comes to a close, the Tampa Yankees have completed another successful month which saw a seven-game winning streak at one point & an 18-inning win at Steinbrenner Field. In addition, the Yankees have enjoyed another month of promotions at their home games including Bark at the Ballpark, Bright House Networks Customer Appreciation Night & AllergEase Night, giving fans an exciting night to remember with their friends and family.
With the dawn of June approaching, the Yankees will open up a four-game home stand from June 4-7, where they will face the Charlotte Stone Crabs. It is expected to be an evenly matched series considering the Yankees split the Stone Crabs last season four games to four.
In addition to baseball, each of the four games are going to consist of at least one promotion for the fans:
June 4 will be Kids Night Wednesday, presented by Hi-Chew. Every kid at the ballpark who is 14-years old or younger will receive a free hot dog, small soda & bag of cracker jacks with the purchase of a reserved ticket for $5. After the game the kids will have an opportunity to run the bases. Game time will be at 7:00 pm.
June 5 is one of our classic Throwback Thursdays, presented by 98.7 The Fan. Instead of paying $6 for reserved seating or $4 for general admission, fans will be able to purchase tickets like it's 1994. Reserved seating will only cost $2 & general admission will be just $1. In addition to our reduced ticket pricing, fans can enjoy 14 oz. Draft Beers for $2, small sodas for $1 & half-priced nachos from 6-8 pm. Game time will be at 7:00 pm.
June 6 will be our Social Media Friday, presented by your Bill Currie Ford Dealer in Tampa. If you check our Facebook, Twitter & Google + pages, you will receive a key code to use at our box office for $2 general admission tickets to our social media fans. During the game fans can enjoy All-You-Can-Eat-Chicken-Wings at the Walgreens deck for $10, Select Drink Specials presented at the game & $1 small sodas at the Grill from 6-8. Game time will be at 7:00 pm.
June 7 will be a date you won't want to pass up. Before the game, the first 250 fans to arrive will receive a Mariano Rivera Bobblehead giveaway, there will be a face painter from 5-7:00, kids run the bases from 5-5:15 & player autographs will be available on the concourse from 5:10-5:30. June 7 will also be Friends & Family Saturday sponsored by Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. This includes family 4-packs which consist of 4 reserved tickets, hot dogs, bags of chips, sodas, TY caps & 2 passes to Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo for the total price of $38. After the game, end your Saturday night with a fireworks show at the ballpark. Game time will be at 6:00 pm.
