Yankees Return to PNC Field for Eight Game Home Stand

Moosic, PA - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees return home to PNC Field for an eight-game homestand with a pair of four-game series vs. two International League North Division rivals. The Yankees host the Pawtucket Red Sox, Monday, June 21- Thursday, June 24 and the Rochester Red Wings, Friday, June 25 - Sunday, June 28.

The Rochester Red Wings make their second visit of the season to PNC Field for a four-game series beginning Friday night with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.The opening game of the four-game series is Girl Scout Night at PNC Field. Area Girl Scout Troops and Councils will participate in a pre-game parade.

In addition, Friday night's game also comes jam-packed with $1 ballpark food including hot dogs, popcorn, chips, soft drinks, and Nuts 4 You Snack Packs. Plus, $1 drafts will be available on the Bud Light Bullpen, local band Maybe Someday will perform a pre-game concert, and following the game, the skies over PNC Field will light up with an amazing post-game fireworks show.

On Saturday night, fans at PNC Field will be entertained by special guest Reggy The Purple Party Dude, who will have fans of all ages laughing out loud with his unique brand of physical comedy. Plus, the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Joba Chamberlin bobblehead. Local musicians The Fuzzy Park Band will perform a pre-game concert, and $1 drafts will also be available Saturday night on the Bud Light Bullpen.

Saturday is also "Youth Baseball Day" at PNC Field with little league teams from the area taking part in a pre-game parade and the team with the largest attendance throwing out the first pitch. A fantastic post-game fireworks display once again follows the action.

Sunday vs. the Red Wings at 5:05 p.m. is Kid's Day at PNC Field. All kids in attendance 12 and under will get the opportunity to run the bases at PNC Field following the Yankees game with Rochester.
