Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The sixth-place IronPigs (27-41) play the finale of a four-game series against the second-place SWB Yankees (39-30) -- New York's top affiliate. With a 5-4 win last night, the 'Pigs have evened up the season-series with the Yankees and lead the current series, 2-1. Even though they've dropped six of their last 10 games, the Pigs are now 9-8 in their last 17 affairs... Scranton/Wilkes-Barre -- which previously swept Indy at home -- has now won five of its last seven games. Prior to that sweep, the Yanks had gone just 3-7 in their previous 10 games.
RHP Nate Bump (6-3, 2.73) will start for LHV against RHP Romulo Sanchez (3-5, 5.03).
First-Pitch is at 1:35 p.m.
Following today's game, LHV embarks on an eight-game, South Division road trip through Norfolk and Durham.
