XTO online jersey auction ends Wednesday

The online auction of the Fort Worth Brahmas game-worn XTO Energy Jerseys will end on Wednesday, March 1 at 12:00 noon.
These jerseys were worn by the Brahmas players in their 4-2 loss to the Youngstown Steelhounds on Friday, February 17 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The online auction is taking place on the Brahmas official team website, www.brahmas.com.
The XTO Energy themed jerseys feature the XTO Energy logo on the front with a black, gold and white color scheme. The back and sleeve jersey numbers are black with gold trim. The nameplates on the jerseys are in black lettering. There are no shoulder patches on these jerseys.
XTO Energy, which has its corporate headquarters in downtown Fort Worth, is one of the largest energy production companies in the United States. XTO Energy hosted more than 700 guests including employees and their families at the Fort Worth Convention Center to see the Brahmas and the Steelhounds play.
There are 13 game worn jerseys with player nameplates in the auction. Two of the jerseys--defenseman Konrad Brand's and forward Noah Katz--are game issued with player nameplates, because both Brand and Katz missed the aforementioned Brahmas/Steelhounds game because of injury.
A portion of of the proceeds from this jersey auction will go to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The E-bay style jersey auction is open to the public. To place a bid on a jersey, please go to the "Auction" page (http://brahmas.com/merchandise/auction) on the Brahmas team website. Create an Auction User Account, and then place a bid on the jersey (or jerseys) of your choice.
All winning bidders in the jersey auction will receive an e-mail from the Brahmas to coordinate payment and shipping of their jersey (or jerseys). All costs for the shipping and handling of the jerseys will be paid by the Brahmas.
