Memphis Xplorers News Release

Southaven, MS-The Memphis Xplorers of the af2 have released a new publication, the "X-Files". The eight-page free newsletter features information about the Xplorers upcoming season.

The Xplorers acquired the idea from the Chicago Rush of the AFL, who presented a similar publication at the af2 convention in Chicago back in November. At that time, the Xplorers front office staff was very impressed with the "Rush Report", and decided to test the idea in the Mid-South community.

"This free publication is a great way for us to spread our product to local residents," stated Xplorers General Manager Nate Yoder. "

The content of the "X-Files" includes a 2004 season recap, a preview of the 2005 season, comments from the Xplorers Head Coach Danton Barto, a look at the 2005 team Xplosion dance team, and season ticket information.

Approximately 8,500 publications will be inserted into the DeSoto County Tribune, which reaches readers in Southaven, Horn Lake, Olive Branch, and Hernando. Another 8,500 free "X-Files" newsletters will also be distributed at stores, restaurants, and other businesses throughout the Greater Memphis area.

The Xplorers were ten game winners in their 2004 playoff season. For group and season ticket information call 662-393-3761. Memphis Xplorers Arena Football! Back in Black!
