
Wranglers Round up Rhinos 3-2 in OT

Amarillo Wranglers 3 @ El Paso Rhinos 2 - After a hard-fought game, Rhinos are defeated in OT by the Amarillo Wranglers.
In their second and final meeting of the series the El Paso Rhinos and Amarillo wranglers faced off once more. There was no scoring in the 1st period, giving the mid-game advantage to the Wranglers as they scored one goal in the 2nd period off a power play.
The Rhinos came back in the 3rd with a vengeance, our very own Matt Johnson scoring 3 minutes into the period, bringing the score 1-1. This would not be the last goal of the period as the Rhinos took the lead with Frank Tafelski sinking one more for the team. The Wranglers did not take this sitting down and tied up the game once more at 2-2 halfway through the period sending us into overtime.
The Wranglers finished off the game with one goal in OT finalizing the score at 3-
