Wranglers Announce Preseason Games, Partner with MDA

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced their preseason schedule Friday, and will play three road games and one home game in advance of the team's 2013-14 season opener on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Wranglers have also partnered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to send 10 kids to summer camp through preseason ticket sales.

The Wranglers will face the Ontario Reign on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2:05 p.m. inside Orleans Arena. For every 80 tickets sold to the game, one child with muscular dystrophy will get to go to summer camp at no cost to the families. Tickets are $15, with $10 from each ticket going to MDA, and the Wranglers' goal is to send 10 kids to camp. After Sunday's game, fans are invited to stick around and skate with Wranglers players for free, with limited ice skates provided by the team.

When businesses buy 40 tickets for their staff or customers, employees will have the chance to pie their boss live on the ice at the game. An 80-ticket purchase will see bosses put in front of the Wranglers net as employees shoot foam pucks at them.

Prior to the Wranglers home opener, the team will play two road games against the Colorado Eagles on Oct. 9 and 10, both at 6:05 p.m. PST, and see the Reign in California on Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. PST. Scooter's Pub, home to all Wranglers road games, will broadcast all three games from their location at 6200 S. Rainbow Blvd.

The Wranglers open their eleventh season of hockey in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7:05 p.m. against the Utah Grizzlies. For the entire Wranglers home schedule, please click here for a one-page PDF .
