Spokane Shock News Release

The Spokane Shock announced today WR/DB Kelvin Dickens has been assigned to the 2007 roster by the arenafootball2 League Office.

Dickens, 6'3" 212, is the all-time career receiving leader collecting 121 receptions over his four-year career at Morgan State. His most productive season came as a junior when he caught 47 passes for 1,019 yards with seven touchdowns and earned SBN 1st Team All-American honors.

"Kelvin is going to be a special player in this league," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said. "He's got great speed (a 4.3 in the 40), great size and most importantly he has great hands. A lot of other teams were after him, so I'm glad that we signed him."

After graduating from Morgan State, Dickens attended several AFL and CFL workouts before landing on the Shock's 2007 roster.

The Shock's growing roster now stands at five players, including Dickens. Season tickets for the 2007 season are on sale now as the Shock begins its defense of the Championship on March 31st. Season tickets can be purchased by calling 509 242 7462.
