Joe Paparelli went 2-5, sparking the Torrington Titans (5-4) to a 6-4 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (2-8) on Sunday at Fuessenich Park.
He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.
The Torrington Titans' lineup had no answer for Charlie Butler. The Torrington Titans managed just two hits off of Butler, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Colby Tollison improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered two hits.
Mike Bruemmel (0-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
