
Wolves Release Two From Amateur Tryout Contracts

The Chicago Wolves have released center ERIC O'DELL and defenseman CODY SOL from their Amateur Tryout Contracts (ATO).
O'DELL made his professional debut in three games with Chicago after being signed to an ATO on March 30. The 19-year-old forward completed his third season with the Ontario Hockey League's Sudbury Wolves this year, amassing career highs with 35 assists and 68 points and matching a career-best 33 goals in 68 regular-season games this year. His 33 goals and 68 points led Sudbury, while his 35 assists ranked second on the squad.
SOL made his pro debut with Chicago on April 9 and was held scoreless in one game. The 19-year-old blueliner set career-highs with seven goals, eight assists and 15 points in 55 outings with the Saginaw Spirit (OHL) before being signed to an ATO on April 5. He also paced Saginaw and ranked 14th in the OHL with a career-most 151 penalty minutes.
The Wolves, who currently lead the West Division Semifinal series against the Milwaukee Admirals, 2-games-to-1, face Milwaukee in Game 4 at the Bradley Center on Monday, April 19, at 7 p.m.
