Wolves Go On The Hunt

The Chicago Wolves have signed defenseman JAMIE HUNT.

The 25-year-old spent last season with the Augsburg Panthers of the German Elite League, compiling 21 assists, 25 points and 57 penalty minutes in 50 contests.

Prior to signing overseas, the Calgary, Alberta, native skated two seasons with the American Hockey League's Hershey Bears, amassing 25 points (6G, 19A) and 63 penalty minutes in 96 contests. He also appeared in four Calder Cup playoff outings with the Bears in 2007-08, and made his National Hockey League debut in one outing with the Washington Capitals in 2006-07.

HUNT spent three seasons at Mercyhurst College (AHA) before going pro, where he tallied 20 goals, 61 assists, 81 points and 89 penalty minutes in 98 career outings from 2003 to 2006.

In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
