Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will host two free coaching clinics for local youth hockey coaches, sponsored by Jerry's Hockey Warehouse, at their practice facility in the Hoffman Estates Park District Community Center and Ice Arena, 1685 W. Higgins Road, on Mon., Aug. 24, and Tue., Aug. 25, at 6:30 p.m.

"We are always looking for unique ways to give back, and this is an opportunity to reach out to the youth hockey community," said Vice President of Operations COURTNEY MAHONEY. "These local coaches take time out of their lives to help mentor aspiring hockey players, and this will be a great way for them to gain valuable knowledge and insight from the Wolves coaching staff."

The clinics will include on-ice demonstrations of team drills and workouts by the Wolves coaching staff, including Head Coach DON GRANATO, Assistant Coach JASON CHRISTIE, and Skating and Skills Coach KENNY McCUDDEN. Participants also will have the opportunity to attend a question and answer session, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the practice facility with General Manager WENDELL YOUNG.

In addition, Head Athletic Trainer KEVIN KACER and Head Equipment Manager CRAIG KOGUT will be on hand to offer training tips and sharpen skates.

Clinics will be divided by age groups as follows:

Mon., Aug. 24

Mites, Squirts and Pee Wee Coaches

6:30 p.m.

Tue., Aug. 25

Bantam and Midget Coaches

6:30 p.m.
