Manchester Wolves News Release
MANCHESTER, N.H. (March 9, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves are pleased to announce they have sold over 3,000 season tickets for their inaugural 2004 season and would like to thank the fantastic football fans throughout New Hampshire and the greater New England region for their tremendous show of support.
Goffstown's Robert Leiter placed an order for four season tickets early Tuesday morning that officially put the Wolves over the 3,000 mark. As a special thank you for his purchase, the Wolves have promised Leiter an official arena football signed by the entire team.
"This is a nice extra bonus," Leiter said of his special recognition and gift. "My family and I are excited about coming to the games. I've seen a little bit on television and it looks like a lot of fun."
The Wolves kick off their inaugural season in New Hampshire on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. against the Quad City Steamwheelers at the Verizon Wireless Arena. That night will truly be historic as the Manchester Wolves host the first arena football game ever played at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
The Wolves also have a number of special promotions and giveaways planned this season to make each game more spectacular. Further details on these plans will be released as they become available.
We're amazed but not surprised by the overwhelming response of fans throughout the state of New Hampshire and beyond," Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella said. "Everyone we talk to can't wait for the season to start."
Wolves' Managing Partner and former NFL player Steve Schubert was equally impressed with how granite state football fans have lined up in support of his team.
"This is a great accomplishment for us as an organization," Schubert said. "It just proves to us again that we were right in bringing the Wolves here to New Hampshire. I'd like to personally thank all the fans and our many corporate partners for believing in this team and this game like I do."
Don't miss the Wolves first season of hard-hitting action in New Hampshire! Season ticket packages for the Wolves are available for dream, lower bowl and upper bowl seats and start as low as $112.
