St. John's IceCaps News Release

ST. JOHN'S, NL - The St. John's IceCaps couldn't hang on as the Hartford Wolf Pack forced overtime and won 2-1 in the extra frame at Mile One Centre on Friday night.

Both teams went scoreless in the first period, before IceCaps' Bobby Farnham - fresh back from Montreal - got St. John's on the board with a breakaway goal. Daniel Audette and Tom Parisi picked up the helpers. Audette now has 10 points in his last 10 games (5G, 5A).

The Wolf Pack came out hard in the third, tying it up with a tally from Nicklas Jensen and forcing the game to overtime.

Hartford dominated the play in the extra frame, and Chris Brown snuck one past IceCaps' netminder Charlie Lindgren for the win. Lindgren made 25 saves in the loss.
