Wizards Battle Back to Tie Galaxy 2-2

KANSAS CITY, MO - The Kansas City Wizards scored twice in the final nine minutes to earn a hard fought 2-2 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy at Arrowhead Stadium Saturday night. Second half sub Davy Arnaud scored in the 81st minute, then Josh Wolff tied it with a header in the 86th minute to earn Kansas City a point at home. The same two teams will square off again next Sunday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

Kansas City will travel to Los Angeles next weekend for the second leg of the home-and-home series with the Galaxy on Sunday, September 25th. The match will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT from the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

The Wizards Reserves will return to action on Sunday, September 18th at 10:00 a.m. CT. The Reserves will host the Galaxy Reserves at Arrowhead Stadium. Media with proper credentials can enter the stadium through the Gate E tunnel, but the match will NOT be open to the public.
