Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have three new logos on the way for the 2011 season! The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers is updating their uniform logo. The Rattlers are also adding a primary logo and alternate cap logo.
Studio Simon, a brand identity firm very familiar with Minor League Baseball logos, designed the new marks with guidance from the team. The primary logo will incorporate both the team name and Fang, the team mascot, to form a comprehensive logo that the team had not previously had. All three logos will feature a sharp updated look with a little more edge.
The current logo, Fang wrapped around a 'W', has been around since Appleton's professional baseball team made the change from the Appleton Foxes to the Timber Rattlers after the 1994 season. That logo will continue to be used on the team's home cap.
The new logos will be officially released to the public on Thursday, November 11.
Opening Day for the 2011 season is Thursday, April 7. Season ticket packages and tickets for groups of 20 or more are available now by calling 800-WI-TIMBER or by stopping at the Time Warner Cable Field ticket office from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
