OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired Malachi Smith from the Rip City Remix in exchange for Jazian Gortman.
Smith, a 6-4, 205-pound guard has appeared in 15 games for the Rip City Remix this season averaging 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 28.4 minutes per game. Before joining the Remix, the Indiana native played college basketball at Gonzaga, Chattanooga and Wright State. During his senior year at Gonzaga, Smith averaged 8.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per contest.
