Portland, Ore. - The Portland Winterhawks announced today that its first home game of the 2022-23 Western Hockey League schedule will be held on Saturday, October 1. The Winterhawks will play host to divisional rival Tri-City Americans for the club's home opener at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

This news comes days after the WHL announced preseason dates for its 22 member clubs, including four games for the Winterhawks against division foes.

The remainder of the 2022-23 regular-season schedule is set to be released in the coming weeks.
