Winston-Salem Warthogs Game Notes
April 30, 2008 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Winston-Salem Dash News Release
After tossing a no-hitter and still getting swept in a doubleheader against Potomac last night, the Warthogs will conclude their six-game road trip with a series finale against the Nationals tonight. Winston-Salem is winless during this road stretch and just 1-7 away from Ernie Shore Field this season. A couple of highly touted prospects will square off this evening at Pfitzner Stadium as the Warthogs will start RHP John Ely (0-2, 2.88) and the Nationals will turn to RHP Jordan Zimmerman (2-1, 2.21). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
