
Wings To Return To Their Roots With One-Day Wachovia Spectrum Practice

The Philadelphia Wings, under new Head Coach David Huntley, continue to prepare for the 2008 National Lacrosse League season this Saturday at the Wachovia Spectrum.
Both Wings veterans and rookies will be competing to make the 2008 team. Returning players on hand will include: 11- year veteran Jake Bergey, fan favorite Rob "Mr. Saturday Night" Van Beek, top-scoring rookie Athan Iannucci, Lower Merion, PA product John Christmas, and new star defender Taylor Wray.
A new crop of rookies will also be at the Spectrum this Saturday including top draft picks Merrick Thomson from Albany and Cornell product David Mitchell as well as former Conestoga High School and Penn State standout Patrick Heim.
The Wings open their 2008 home season on Saturday, January 12 vs. the Chicago Shamrox at the Wachovia Center. Individual tickets start as low as $10 and are on sale now at www.wingslax.com.
